Valentine 100th Day!

So this year, our 100th day of school fell on Valentine's day. We have had no storm days so far. So our day was extra special!

Here are a few photos of activities my kiddos completed.

We started the day by making counting mats (10 circles, to count 10 items on each). I found the idea here.  Then they used the mats to count out fruit loops and string them as necklaces.

The kiddos had a packet of activity pages. They really liked this one. They had to write their name over and over to fill up 100 spaces. They colour each letter a different colour. I found the printable here.

We made 100 day hats inspired by this post. The kiddos used 10 strips of paper and put 10 stickers on each one.

The day ended with some candy heart graphs. They sorted their 100 candy hearts by colour and filling in a 100 chart with the right coloured boxes. It was a lot of fun!

We had a lot of fun! Hope you enjoy your 100th day of school (or HAVE as I know some of you go back before we do!)
